Eddie Ng

Mr. Eddie Ng is the Head of Data & Analytics at PSA BDP, a member of PSA International. He leads the development of intelligent engines that power digital applications and enable new data products. Through the application of Mathematical Optimization and Artificial Intelligence (AI), he empowers Beneficial Cargo Owners (BCOs) with actionable insights, driving organizational growth in a more efficient and customer‑centric manner. Before assuming his current role, Eddie served as Head of Digital & Data Strategy and Vice President of Group Cargo Solutions & Platform Development at PSA International. Previously, as Head of Strategic Liner Management at APL, he led Regional Cargo Flow Teams across Asia, the US, and Europe, as well as the Singapore‑based Yield Management Team. He was an active member of the APL Innovation Committee, spearheading proof‑of‑concept initiatives in blockchain and AI. Eddie also collaborated with local universities on research projects spanning booking velocity analytics to optimal container fleet deployment. With more than 20 years of international experience in the container shipping and logistics industry, Eddie has held leadership positions across NOL, APL, and APL Logistics in Asia, Europe, and the Americas. His career spans a diverse range of functions, including marketing, pricing, alliance and network planning, corporate strategy, eCommerce, logistics product management, and yield and cost management. He has driven enterprise‑wide transformation programs covering demand forecasting, network optimization, and end‑to‑end shipment and inventory visibility. Eddie also pioneered container‑level customer profitability analytics and introduced machine‑learning–based auto‑pricing for shipping. Eddie holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Bachelor Science (Hons) (Computer & Information Science) from the National University of Singapore.
